The problem seems to be passing references from one frame to another so that its button can be controlled in the latter. The original poster has no idea about this. Thus must be a beginner Java programmer.
The second last poster claims having a similar question, which is in fact totally different: He needs to change the widget tree dynamically while the original discussion simply enabling and disabling a button. Totally different topic!
I agree. Some programmers post on existing threads instead of opening their own. Sometimes two or three questions are posted in a single thread. If some hot discussion are not closed, people can still add their similar questions in so as to gather more attraction. Else if the discussion has been over for a long time, posting in it seems unwise choice.
