Message thread:Message Description:Basically, the OP is asking for help of making a Chess game problem. It is a msg similar to that ofhttp://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=57&threadID=598275In these two msgs, camickr posted two codes to solve problems. In this Chess game discussion, he wrote a program
that has 64 grids for a game.
Message type:problem-oriented&goal-oriented; OP has a problem with his Chess-game code while others also wants to know
sth about either Chess-game(written in Swing) or comprehensive knowledge application.
Q&A process:
q1-a1(advice)-a2(advice)-a3(compiled code)-a4-a5-a6(discussion closed)-a7-a8-a9-a10
What is the situation of the Q/A?Op is a long and detailed description of his problem. However, it still may not reflect the problem since
a Chess-game program is very complicated. Solution of problem depends on the details in his design. Some responds
but no viable solution occurs. camickr pasted a compiled code. No further discussion spread out which possibly means
OP and other respondents got inspiration. This topic is very interesting and a typical comprehensive goal-oriented
topic in swing. Some people also ask questions in following years without any response.
What should be the most objective way of Q/A?
First, after several discussion, a relative viable solution of Chess-game program should be posted for further developers'
study. Otherwise, successors will still ask questions repeatedly. In this case, this msg has become a zombie one.
Successors should post their own questions and codes about chess-game( with a link to this message).
With code/not:providing solution and asking questions
